Lucas Imbiriba starts his musical education at the age of 10 at the Conservatório Carlos Gomes (Brazil) having lessons with the guitarist and composer Salomão Habib. After finishing his conservatory studies, in 2002 he moves to Barcelona (Spain) to study at the ESMUC (Escola Superior de Música de Catalunya) with Profs. Zoran Dukic, Àlex Garrobé and the Flamenco masters Juan and Manuel Cañizares, obtaining his Bachelor Degree in Classical Guitar (Título Superior en Guitarra Clásica).


In 2006 he moves to Augsburg (Germany) to study his with Prof. Franz Halasz at the Nürnberg-Augsburg Musik Hochschule, finishing his Meisterklasse Diplom studies in 2008. The year after he starts his studies with Prof. Mathias Seidel at the Mozarteum Universitaet, in Salzburg (Austria), receiving in 2011 the title of Master of Arts.

Lucas performed concerts and shows in Brazil, Portugal, Spain, France, Germany, Austria, Italy, Switzerland, Sweden, Finland, Trinidad & Tobago, Republic of Guinea, United States, Russia and Greece, and was invited as a guest artist at Hapag-Lloyd Cruisers across Asia and Latin America. 


He was invited to perform in several Guitar Festivals in Spain, Brazil, Russia and Germany, and played in Concert Halls such as Teatro da Paz (Brazil), L'Auditori de Barcelona (Spain), Nikolaisaal (Germany), Stefaniensaal (Austria) and the Moscow House of International Music (Russia).


In 2005 he released his first Guitar Album entitled "Contra las Cuerdas" by the Spanish discography D+3, recording that received 5 star critics from the newspaper "El Peridodic".


In 2006 he performed the premiere of the Concerto for Electric guitar and orchestra by Sergi Casanellas, piece dedicated to Lucas and perfomed with David Albet Orchestrain at  L´Auditori de Barcelona.


In 2008 he was invited to take part as a Jury Member at the III Egüez Guitar Competition, in Spain.


In January 2009 he was invited to play at the 31st Summer Festival of EMB (Brazil) and at the World Social Forum (Brazil), event that included names such as Seu Jorge, Manu Chao, presidents of all Latin American Nations and more than sixty thousand visitors. 


In 2010 he was invited to perform at the Samos Music Festival, Greece with several young musicians that took part at the Live Music Now Munich project.


In July 2011, Lucas performed a solo concert in the Winners & Master Festival celebrated at Gasteig, Munich. He was the first classical guitarist ever to perform in this Music Festival.


In August 2011 he toured with his rock band “Lucas Cesar Expedition” through the coast of Portugal, Spain, France and Italy.


In September 2011, Lucas toured in Trinidad & Tobago, performing both classical and folk music. During his stay he also offered masterclasses at the South Caribbean University and the University of Trinidad & Tobago.


In November 2011 he performed at the Solitaer Hall of the Salzburg Music University a concert called “Lucas Imbiriba, a brazilian between tradition and pop”.

In February 2012 Lucas toured through Russia performing with Alexander Vinistky and Mikhail Smirnof, performing also with the Kaluga Chamber Orchestra.


In March and April 2012 Lucas was invited to perform concerts in two Cruisers by the german company Happag-Lloyd, across Brunei, Malasya, Vietnam and China, Peru, Ecuador, Panamá, Colombia, Venezuela as well as various Caribbean islands.


In April 2012 he was invited to perform and teach masterclasses at the Escola de Música of the Federal University of Teresina, Brazil.


In December 2012 Lucas had a 30-day tour through different regions of Russia, performing with Orchestra, solo and together with the Alexander Vinitsky Trio.


In February 2013 Lucas performed with the violinist Oscar Bohorquez at the Henkel Musikfestival, Wiesbanden, Germany.


From March 28th until April 8th 2013 Lucas performed at the 12th Foir Internationale of Conakry, capital of the Republic of Guiné.


In June 2014 Lucas became professor of the Federal University of Pará, Brazil, where he teaches guitar in its Music School (EMUFPA).


In 2014 he performed several shows and concerts in Brazil and Russia, together with the Russian guitarist Nikita Saveliev, as well as solo concerts.


In 2015 he toured with the Nurnberg Symphony Orchestra in Germany and performed solo concerts in Germany and Brazil.


In February 2016 he toured in Russia perfoming solo concerts and a concert with the Hakassian Symphonic Orchestra in Abakan. Also he toured in Brazil with his rock band, performing his own composition of his last album entitled Change of Plans.


Between the years 2008 and 2016, Lucas was invited to perform various Concertos for Guitar and Orchestra as the soloist of the Brandenburguishes Staatsorchester (Germany), Grosses Orchester Graz (Austria), Jena Philarmonic (Germany), Krasnoyarsk Philarmonic (Russia), Neu Brandenburg Pilharmonie (Germany), Orquestra do Teatro da Paz (Brazil), Kemerovo Symphony Orchestra (Russia), Nuernberg Symphony Orchestra (Germany), Togliatti Jazz Orchestra (Russia), Kaluga Symphony Orchestra (Russia), Barnaul Symphony Orchestra (Russia), Hakassian Symphonic Orchestra (Russia) and the Moscow City Symphony Orchestra (Russia).


On December 2018 he toured in France and Russia performing solo concerts and concerts with a rock band.


In 2020, Lucas Imbiriba became known on Youtube platform due to his acoustic versions of songs like Stairway to Heaven (Led Zeppelin), Desperado (Los Lobos) and Hotel California (The Eagles) achieving more than three million views in a three-month period of time.
